Mikko Lehtonen and Andrei Kuzmenko are the best KHL players of the week!

The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) has revealed the best players of the past playing week.

SKA representative Mikko Lehtonen has been named the best defenseman. In three matches, Mikko tallied three (1+2) points and a +6 plus/minus rating, registering seven shots on goal, two hits, one blocked shot and an average ice time of 28 minutes and 58 seconds.

Furthermore, SKA's Andrei Kuzmenko is the best forward. Andrei earned six (4+2) points and a +5 plus/minus rating in the away games against Avangard Omsk, Dinamo Riga and Dynamo Moscow, while also landing one hit, blocking two shots and drawing two penalties out of the opposing teams.

HC Sochi player Magnus Hellberg is the top goaltender and Dynamo forward Dmitry Rashevsky has been declared the best rookie.
