Book match at the Ice Palace on December 19th!

SKA Hockey Club, with the largest chain of iconic bookstores in Saint Petersburg, Bukvoed, will hold a themed book match on December 19th.

At the 2023/2024 KHL regular season game against Sochi, ice hockey and literature will unite at the Ice Palace to delight fans of both our favourite sport and reading!

At the match, a collection of books will be organised for the Lantern charity market. Please bring suitable books with you to the Ice Palace, where they will subsequently be passed on to the city's libraries. You can donate children's and adult books of any genre in good condition (preferably published no earlier than 2000). In return, you will receive a discount for Bukvoed and tickets for SKA's home matches.

Furthermore, during the match's breaks, you will be able to visit a cozy reading area at the arena, test your knowledge in a literary quiz and win gift boxes.

A series of bookmarks with famous Russian writers and their quotes were released especially for the book match! The bookmarks can be obtained with any purchase in the Hockey Club and Bukvoed stores, as well as on December 19th at all stalls inside the Ice Palace.
