Marat Khairullin now boasts 13 empty-net goals for SKA, equalling the club record in the process which was originally set by fellow forward Ilya Kovalchuk.

However, while Kovalchuk required 325 matches to register 13 empty-netters for SKA, Khairullin only needed 163 games.

Across his 150 appearances in the KHL regular season for SKA, forward Vasily Glotov has picked up 84 (41+43) points.

Defenseman Vyacheslav Voynov became the third player to score both for and against SKA and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in KHL matches between the two clubs. Previously, when he represented SKA, Voynov scored twice against Torpedo. The previous two players to achieve the same feat are Maxim Fedotov (defenseman) and Damir Zhafyarov (forward).

Torpedo's Dmitry Kagarlitsky became the fourth KHL forward to earn at least one point against SKA for six different teams, following in the footsteps of Linus Videll, Konstantin Glazachyov and Evgeny Lapenkov.
