Demidov and Nikishin received individual KHL awards

Awards were issued at the closing ceremony of the 2024/2025 Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) season.
SKA forward Ivan Demidov was named the league's rookie of the year! Overall, Demidov racked up 49 (19+30) points across 65 regular-season games and five (3+2) in six Gagarin Cup playoff matches. Furthermore, the 19-year-old became the youngest player in league history to score a minimum of 20 goals and record 50 points during one single campaign.
Demidov progressed through the entire SKA system, starting right from the academy. He became a champion of the Kharlamov Cup in the MHL in 2024 and the Channel One Cup in the same year, while he had previously won the Hlinka/Gretzky Cup with Russia U18 in 2021.
Defenseman Alexander Nikishin was included in the KHL All-Star Team of the season, receiving the Golden Helmet award as a consequence. SKA's captain tallied 46 (17+29) points in 61 matches in the regular season, before picking up three (2+1) points in four playoff games. Nikishin became SKA's leading scorer among defensemen in history this season.
