Jokerit - SKA. Match day

16 February 2016

In the first match since the Euro Hockey Tour break, SKA will take on HC Jokerit Helsinki in Finland.

This will be the fourth and final meeting against each other this KHL regular season, and so far it's advantage SKA. Our team have taken two out of the previous three matches (6:3 and 2:1), and the latter came just a couple of weeks ago in Saint Petersburg. Indeed Jokerit have struggled lately with one win out of five, and such form has taken their advantage over SKA in the race for second place down to five points. Nevertheless they have had the international break to re-group, and a full Hartwall Arena will try to give them maximum help. Forwards Brandon Kozun and Peter Regin are their top scorers with 47 points apiece (16+31), and first choice goaltender Henrik Karlsson has a saves percentage of 92.3%.

SKA got back to winning ways in their last game against Yugra 7:2, and have to take victory today to retain hope of overtaking Jokerit in the table. Forward Vadim Shipachyov still has more points that anyone else with 59 (16+43).

The Jokerit - SKA match will begin at 19.30 Moscow time inside the Hartwall Arena, Helsinki, Finland. Life78 and KHL TV will both broadcast the game live, whereas you can follow events live with our online matchcentre or our official Twitter account.
