Jokerit - SKA. Match day

Today on the 5th of December, SKA's KHL campaign will resume with a tough match up against Jokerit Helsinki. It will indeed be the team's first match of 2015.

This is Jokerit's debut KHL season, but they haven't had any teething troubles at all, currently laying in second place of the Western Conference with 89 points, two more than SKA. This will be their third home match in a row in this particular series, having already beaten Dinamo Riga 3:1, and HC Dinamo Minsk 5:2. Forward Steve Moses has 8 points from his previous five outings, and overall with 28 goals he is the KHL's leading scorer.

SKA have been well below their best for quite some time now, and the team has only two wins from the past five matches. Nevertheless, the team can overtake Jokerit in the standings with a win today, and everyone should be boosted by the return of Viktor Tikhonov.

These two teams have already met twice this season, with SKA coming out on top 4:1 in Saint Petersburg, and going down 1:3 in Helsinki.

The Jokerit - SKA match will begin at 19.30 Moscow time inside the Hartwall Arena, Helsinki. 100 TV and KHL TV will both broadcast the game live, and you can keep up to date with events by by following our twitter.
