Ilya Ezhov: "Our character was a key factor"

- Both teams wanted to win. It's a derby, these games are always interesting.

- Has last season's epic playoff series made these fixtures more important?

- We have always fought hard against CSKA even before last campaign.

- It was a tough battle. How would you sum up the game?

- We showed a good team game, the guys worked hard. It's good that we won.

- How did you manage to beat CSKA?

- I think that our character was a key factor. 2:1 is a difficult scoreline especially when playing your fourth game away, even more so when playing CSKA. Every did a great job laying in front of the puck and fighting until the end.

- Can you take a sigh of relief now?

- We've got a new match on Friday, there's no time to rest. We need to recover and be prepared.
