SKA players at the Olympics. Round 3

ROC - Czech Republic (5:6 OT), Finland - Sweden (4:3 OT)

Forward Nikita Gusev became the second SKA player to dish out three assists in one Olympic match, following in the footsteps of Patrick Thoresen who achieved the same feat for Norway against Slovenia in 2018.

Overall, Gusev has now tallied 15 (4+11) points at the Olympic Games. Only Ilya Kovalchuk and Pavel Datsyuk have picked up more Olympic points for the senior national team since 1994.

Mikko Lehtonen has earned a point in three consecutive matches at the competition. This is a new record concerning SKA defensemen at the Olympics.

Just like in 2018, Finland and Sweden competed against each other at the Olympic Games, with both nations having SKA players in their respective line-ups.
