Georgy Poltavenko: "SKA's training base is a gift for Saint Petersburg"

Before 46 trees were planted at the SKA Alley, Saint Petersburg govenor Georgy Poltavenko gave a speech at SKA Hockey Club's presentation.
Saint Petersburg govenor Georgy Poltavenko:
- Ice hockey is one of the most popular sports in our country, and SKA is not only the best team in our city, it's one of Russia's top clubs. Today, we can say that the club is experiencing its second birth.
This year, SKA is celebrating its 70th anniversary. During these years, many SKA players have made us happy with their fantastic performances, and we will never forget SKA's championship winning season in 2015. I am sure, that SKA will claim many more trophies in the future.
It's really nice that in their jubilee year SKA have given the whole city such a great gift. The training centre can be used by both SKA players and the general public, and new sporting stars will be raised there. The creation of such a powerful sporting facility will allow us to keep ourselves at the top Russian and international level.
With SKA having been founded in 1946, 46 trees have been planted. This alley will become a familar place for everyone in the city, and I want to thank SKA's board for such a gift. I wish SKA's players victory in the coming campaign,
