Gennady Timchenko: "Happy birthday, SKA!"

SKA Hockey Club president Gennady Timchenko has congratulated the club with the 70th anniversary:

- Dear friends!

This is a special season for us. Exactly seventy years ago, the country's first ice hockey championship was held. We are proud that Leningrad was represented in that tournament.

During those 70 years, SKA have gone through a huge journey which resulted in the team winning the Gagarin Cup. Our players know that they are fighting for the city's population of five million. All of you, our wonderful fans, have been with us.

I want to wish our club new victories for the future.

Happy birthday, SKA!
