The Gagarin Cup final. Game Two facts

Mikko Koskinen is SKA's first goaltender to keep a clean sheet against Ak Bars in Kazan in matches between the two clubs at the highest level. The two previous shutouts were both at home, when Valery Ivannikov on the 16th of November 1993 and Dmitry Yachanov on the 18th of February 2009 didn't concede any goals in Saint Petersburg.
It was also Mikko's third shutout of these KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs, which has equalled the Finnish goalkeeping record in the KHL. HC Avangard's Karri Ramo managed to do the same in 2012 and 2013, as did Petri Vehanen for Ak Bars and Lev Prague in 2011 and 2014 respectively. Out of 14 Finnish shutouts this KHL season half belong to Mikko, and last season he also claimed a playoff shutout for HC Sibir Novosibirsk.
Anton Burdasov netted his 20th SKA goal, and at the same time his 30th in the KHL. Interestingly, he also scored a playoff goal against Ak Bars in 2012 for his previous club Traktor Chelyabinsk, when defensive pairing Ilya Nikulin and Konstantin Korneev were both on the ice (just like yesterday).
Our club now have 23 Gagarin Cup playoff victories both home and away. Overall 40 home matches have been played, and 37 away.
