Evgeny Ketov is 40!

On 17 January, SKA legend and current SKA-VMF head coach Evgeny Ketov celebrates his birthday.

Today, he has turned 40 years of age!

During his successful playing career, Evgeny notably twice won the Gagarin Cup with SKA, became the KHL record-holder concerning shorthanded goals (20) and made more appearances for our team (541) than anyone else in history!

He did indeed spend 10 years as a player with our organisation, before subsequently turned his hand to coaching within the SKA system. Evgeny became the boss of SKA-VMF in October 2025.

Furthermore, he was inducted into the SKA Hall of Fame on 11 December 2023.
