Dinamo Minsk - SKA. Facts of game three

7 March 2021

SKA became the first club to achieve 100 victories in the KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs. It took our team 153 matches to reach this landmark.

79 of those wins have been tallied in regulation time, with the remaining 21 arriving in overtime. 52 victories have been achieved at home in Saint Petersburg and 48 on the road.

Interestingly, in 13 KHL campaigns, SKA have achieved a minimum of one victory against all 12 opponents. Lokomotiv Yaroslavl (18), CSKA Moscow (17) and Dynamo Moscow (14) have suffered the highest amount of defeats against SKA in the playoffs across the 13 seasons.

Forward Kirill Marchenko has earned 50 (25+25) points in 80 games for SKA.

Fellow forward Linden Vey became the first Canadian player to score an overtime winner for SKA in the Gagarin Cup playoffs.

18-year-old defenseman Kirill Kirsanov took his maiden penalty for the senior SKA team during his 32nd appearance. Only Danila Galenyuk (35) and Viktor Antipin (37) required more games to pick up their first penalties for SKA in the KHL among defensemen.

Kirill is indeed the second teenage SKA defenseman to commit his first foul for our main team in the Gagarin Cup playoffs, following in the footsteps of Yegor Rykov (2016).

Brennan Menell is now Dinamo Minsk's most productive defenseman against SKA in KHL history with six (1+5) points to his name, while Shane Prince is the top scorer among forwards for the Belarusians in games against our club with eight (3+5) points in the league.

Forward Pavel Varfolomeev is the first player to score in three matches between SKA and Dinamo Minsk during one single KHL season.
