Dinamo Minsk - SKA. Facts of game six

Dinamo Minsk - SKA. Facts of game six

12 March 2023

Dinamo Minsk became the third team in KHL history to suffer eight defeats against SKA during one single campaign, following in the footsteps of Moscow-based clubs CSKA (2011/2012) and Spartak (2018/2019). Four of those wins for SKA had been earned in the regular season, before our players subsequently tallied four more victories in the first round of the Gagarin Cup playoffs.

For the first time in history, SKA scored 25 goals during one individual playoff series. The preceding record was 23 markers against Vityaz Moscow Region in the 2016/2017 season.

Nikolai Prokhorkin made his 500th KHL appearance. So far, the forward has registered 279 (134+145) points, with 105 (48+57) of them having been gained as a SKA player.

Despite the fact that he didn't hit the target in game six, forward Dmitrij Jaskin became the first SKA player to score eight goals against one particular opponent in one KHL campaign.

Fellow forward Vasily Glotov became the first SKA representative to score in four separate playoff games in one single series against Minsk.

This was the maiden occasion when SKA won a KHL game in which our team conceded two goals while competing on the powerplay.

Interestingly, Dinamo's first goal scored by Vladimir Alistrov after 01:26 was the quickest marker which SKA have ever conceded away from home in the KHL playoffs.
