Dinamo Minsk - SKA. Match facts

19 February 2015

SKA set a number of new club records yesterday against Dinamo Minsk.

Our team has 123 points at the moment. This is now a KHL regular season record for the club, as SKA have one more point than from the 2009/2010 season. It has taken the team 58 games to reach this achievement, with the previous one taking 56.

It was SKA's 41st victory of the season, which is also a new personal best.

In the 2011/2012 campaign, the team hit the back of the net 205 times. With two games left to play, already 208 goals have been scored this time around.

173 of those goals have been scored by forwards. That is also a new record, as the previous best was 170 in the 2011/2012 season.

After 191 KHL regular season away games overall, SKA have scored a total of 600 goals.

In 49 matches against each other in the USSR and Russian championships, 153 goals have been scored. The 150th came was Vadim Shipachyov's yesterday.

It was the biggest away victory against Dinamo Minsk in the history of Russian championships. The previous record was a 6:1 triumph in the 1966/1967 season.

This is only the third season in which SKA have used five different goalkeepers. Back in the 2000/2001 and 2003/2004 seasons however, two of the five didn't even play a whole match. This time around, every goaltender has played at least one full game.

The last time that Ilya Ezhov played for SKA was on the 2nd of March 2014 against Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg. Incidentally, he got a shutout in that particular match.

Yesterday's Dinamo goal was the 150th that Ilya has conceded from 76 SKA matches.

Yury Alexandrov is only the fourth SKA player to finish the game with a plus/minus rating of +5. Kirill Koltsov and Dmitry Kalinin achieved this too in the 2011/2012 season, while last year Maxim Chudinov matched them.
