Avtomobilist - SKA. Match day

SKA have made the trip to Yekaterinburg to face HC Avtomobilist.

This will be the second fixture of this away series, and just like on Friday against Barys, it won't be an easy ride at all. While not having too many top names on their roster, Avtomobilist thrive on team spirit, and with their sold out arena behind them, they always give their bigger name opponents a test. The Ural outfit have had a solid start to this campaign too, currently sitting in fourth place of the Eastern Conference with 17 points to their name.

Last season, Avtomobilist made it to the KHL playoffs, losing to eventual champions Metallurg Magnitogorsk. Forward Anatoly Golyshev caught the eye during that particular year, and he has been touted as their marquee player. The team from Yekaterinburg are coming into this game off the back of a tough 2:4 loss to CSKA Moscow.

Our players stunned Barys with a third period comeback in Astana, recovering from a 1:3 deficit to take a thrilling 5:3 victory. Forward Alexander Barabanov was again the match winner, netting his sixth goal of the season.

The Avtomobilist - SKA match will begin at 17:00 Moscow time in Yekaterinburg. Life78, KHL TV and KHL TV HD will broadcast the game live, while you an follow events on our official Twitter account.
