12 consecutive wins has repeated the existing club record which was set in the 2010/2011 season. Back then in seven regular season matches and five play-off matches SKA won eight games in normal time, three in overtime and one after penalty shots. Interestingly Atlant, just like yesterday, was the team that managed to eventually beat SKA.
This was SKA’s first defeat in normal time in Mytishchi since the 23rd of September 2008 (1:4). Since then our team had won in regulation time three times, along with two overtime defeats.
