- Did you have extra motivation to play the KHL Eastern Conference leaders?

- Yes, of course. This season, Avtomobilist are playing really well, they're in first place of the Eastern Conference. We played well in both defence and attack, and when called upon, Igor Shestyorkin was excellent. He helped us to win.

- Alexander Barabanov created your goal.

- He managed to beat his opponent for skill. I thought that he would give me a pass earlier, but he twisted past his marker, found me at the far left post and I simply had to hit the target.

- Did you congratulate Evgeny Ketov with his first goal of the 2018/2019 KHL season?

- We felt great when he scored. At the start of the season, Evgeny had lots of chances, but the puck just didn't go in. Finally he's registered a goal and we expect him to score more now.

- How do you feel before playing HC Lokomotiv in Yaroslavl?

- This is a difficult road trip, all of our opponents are leaders. We will have extra motivation for playing Lokomotiv, they're playing very well and it will be like a playoff game.
