This was SKA's 50th overtime defeat in the KHL. 36 of them have been suffered in the regular season, with the remaining 14 having been witnessed in the Gagarin Cup playoffs.

Never before had SKA lost two consecutive competitive games to Amur Khabarovsk. Last season, Amur had beaten our team at home by a score of 3:2 in regulation time.

In 350 KHL matches, Marat Khairullin has scored 75 goals. 15 of them have been netted in 29 games for SKA. Before joining SKA, the forward had hit the jackpot on 60 occasions in 321 matches for Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
