Alexander Medvedev: "Our coaches and players are preparing for next season with renewed energy"

Alexander Medvedev, the Chairman of the SKA Board of Directors, has commented on the situation surronding our senior team:

- Under the leadership of the head coach, the coaching staff and the playing squad have begun preparing for the 2024/2025 season with renewed energy.

We're planning on strengthening the team without sudden and chaotic decisions during the upcoming summer break. Next season, we will fight for the Gagarin Cup with the backbone and leaders of the current squad intact. Our team's style was one which entertained everyone who watched our matches.

SKA will continue playing quick, attacking ice hockey in the 2024/2025 campaign which is enjoyed by all of our supporters. The SKA Board of Directors meeting, in which the 2023/2024 season will be summarised, has been rescheduled from April 6th to April 20th. On the same day, we will close out the season at the Ice Palace with our fans. All of us want to express our gratitude to the fans for their wonderful support throughout the season, they packed out both the Ice Palace and the SKA Arena. Furthermore, we will now support our youth team SKA-1946, which is currently participating in the playoffs of the MHL Kharlamov Cup. A lot of the team's players have the chance to step up to the senior side next season, and from our point of view, we want to help them as much as possible! I wish our youth side luck and success.
