Alexander Khokhlachyov: "There is a great atmosphere within the team"

- How have your first days in Saint Petersburg been?

- Everything's great, I have begun training. At the moment I am living in a hotel, but I'm looking at apartments. The city is excellent.

- Are you familiar with anyone from the team?

- I have met all of the players who are in Saint Petersburg. However, some national team players haven't arrived yet. I already knew some of the guys from other tournaments, there's a great atmosphere here.

- Could you ever imagine that you would play in one club with Ilya Kovalchuk and Pavel Datsyuk?

- Yes, I have worked hard and I have always wanted to play with such big names. I will try to match their level and show my best hockey.

- Where did you visit during the summer?

- I didn't have a long holiday. Apart from flying to Cyprus for a while, I spent the rest of my time in Moscow.

- This season, a Chinese club will take part in the KHL. Do you know anything about Chinese ice hockey?

- I have never been to China, and I don't know anything about their ice hockey. Their KHL club will be the only team in the country, and I hope that the fans will come to the stadium. It will be a fascinating experiment.
