Facts of SKA's confident win against Minsk on the road

Across 1035 matches in the history of the KHL regular season, SKA have achieved 700 victories. 369 have been achieved at home, with the remaining 331 coming on the road. No other club has yet tallied 700 regular-season wins.

SKA have recorded 20 wins from 30 away games against Dinamo Minsk. As a consequence, the Belarusians have become the sixth KHL organisation to concede a minimum of 20 defeats on home ice to our team, following in the footsteps of Moscow clubs Dynamo, Spartak, CSKA, Vityaz Moscow Region and Severstal Cherepovets.

In his ninth KHL appearance, forward Yegor Gurzanov picked up his maiden point.

For the first time as a SKA player, fellow forward Sergei Plotnikov made an assist against Minsk.

Interestingly, this was the first occasion when forward Mikhail Vorobyov scored into the empty net for SKA. Overall, he now boasts 55 goals for our club.
