SKA’s first goal marked the 800th which a team coached by Igor Larionov has scored. 632 of them were tallied across 220 matches with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, with the remaining 169 having been netted in 59 SKA games.

Mikhail Vorobyov made his 300th competitive SKA appearance. As a consequence of this, the forward has become the 15th KHL player (3 defensemen, 12 forwards) to participate in a minimum of 300 SKA league games.

Furthermore, Mikhail now possesses 200 (66+134) KHL points from 411 league matches! 173 (56+117) have been gained in 300 SKA games, while the initial 27 (10+17) had been recorded in 111 matches for Salavat Yulaev Ufa.

Requiring just 18 seconds to hit the target in the extra period, Sergei Sapego scored one of the quickest OT winners for SKA in an away KHL match! The record belongs to fellow defenseman Dmitry Kalinin, who netted 16 seconds into overtime on 26 November 2015 against Lada in Tolyatti (3:2).

Interestingly, both of Sergei’s two markers against former employers Dinamo Minsk have turned out to be decisive. He had previously tallied the winner on 23 February 2024 when SKA earned an emphatic 5:1 victory in the Belarusian capital.
