The 2026 KHL All Star Weekend has reached its completion in Ekaterinburg.

As a consequence of defeating the U23 Stars by an emphatic score of 9:2 in the grand final, the RUS Stars became the champions of the event, while the Ural Stars managed to beat the World Stars 9:6 in the playoff for third place to earn the bronze.

SKA were represented at the event by Sergei Ivanov (goalkeeper), Marat Khairullin (forward) and Matvei Korotky (forward).

Khairullin took away a gold medal with the RUS Stars, dishing out an assist for the decisive goal in the semi-final. For their part, Ivanov and Korotky became silver medalists with the U23s, with the latter scoring an impressive hat-trick in the semi-final triumph over the World Stars.

Furthermore, our players also participated in the skills competitions.

Korotky and Khairullin competed in the tournament which determined the best penalty shot, whereas Ivanov was involved in the events organised for goalkeepers. Ivanov did indeed unleash a shot which travelled at 88.92 kilometres per hour.

Our players will now return to Saint Petersburg ahead of SKA’s upcoming games as a part of the KHL regular season, with our next match scheduled to take place on 10 February against Neftekhimik in Nizhnekamsk.
