25 years without Nikolai Drozdetsky

Nikolai Drozdetsky, rightly regarded as one of the most talented players to emerge through the SKA system, sadly passed away exactly 25 years ago.

He subsequently moved to Moscow after impressing in the 1970s. With the national team, Nikolai won the Olympic Games once and the World Championship twice, before he later returned to SKA and helped our team claimed bronze of the USSR championship.

He will always be remembered.
