Barys - SKA. Match facts

The goal scored by forward Mikhail Grigorenko marked SKA’s 200th of the current campaign! It only took our team 55 matches to reach this landmark. So far, no other KHL team has scored 200 goals this season. 

Furthermore, it’s worth noting that this is already the eighth time when SKA have netted a minimum of 200 goals during a KHL regular season, a statistic which unsurprisingly is indeed a league record.

Sergei Sapego has registered 50 (13+37) goals across 197 KHL appearances. 21 (6+15) of the defenseman’s points have been recorded in 89 SKA games.

Forward Marat Khairullin is the only player who tallied at least one point (total of 3+4) in all matches between SKA and Barys Astana in the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 campaigns.

As a consequence of his assist, Damir Zhafyarov became the first forward to pick up points both for and against SKA and Barys in KHL matches involving the two clubs.
