Artemiy Panarin is a forward who is a product of Chelyabinsk's hockey school. Before starting his professional career he was in the sports school of Vityaz, and with Vityaz he started playing professionally. Until 2011 he played with their youth team Russkyh Vityazey in the MHL. For the 2011/2012 season he was traded to Ak Bars Kazan, although he soon returned to Vityaz. In 2013 he signed a contract with SKA, and with the club he has won the Continental Cup and a KHL bronze medal. Internationally he took part in and won the 2011 World Junior Championship. For the main Russian national team he has played at various Euro Hockey Tour stages.
